A High Magnification Measuring Microscope by Broadhurst Clarkson, London. This is a powerful pen-like microscope made for measuring textile density, examining paper, and botanical and other works. The Microscope can be adjusted to magnify between 40 and 60 diameters. In 1873 Alexander Clarkson started to produce optical instruments in London and Mr Broadhurst joined him as a partner in 1892 to form the famous Broadhurst Clarkson & Co. Ltd. That worked in Farringdon Road, London.
