Boxwood spirit level made in England by I & D Smallwood of Birmingham (No. 757). This is an 8" mason's level with horizontal and vertical tubes. The horizontal tube is in an inset brass carrier and the ends are brass tipped. I& D Smallwood are Isaac & David Smallwood of Leopold Street, Birmingham. They were makers of hand tools and spirit levels
