Two Early Instruments From An Original Drawing Set By Buterfield. Comprising of a 16.5 cm (6 ½ inch) brass square instrument with plump engraved: ‘Demi Pied des Roy’ and ‘Demy Pid du Rhin’. The other instrument is a 10 cm (4 inches) brass protractor engraved: ‘Butrfield AParis’. The two instruments in very good condition. Provenance: David Stanley.com, England.
