Dr. Gilai collected antiques for over 50 years.
His collection of canes started when he was a very young man. He walked into a shop full of amazing things he couldn't afford to buy. The only thing he had enough for was a bamboo cane.
Today Dr. Gilai's collection holds over 300 decorative canes form all over the world.
In later years Dr. Gilai started a smaller collection of conductors' batons. There over 50 different batons varying in materials from wood to ivory and different metals.
