Oiler made by Joseph Lucas Ltd. Birmingham.This is a an oiler with a crescent shaped nozzel in mint condition. The Company of Sir Joseph Lucas Ltd. From Birmingham started in 1875 with production of ship and bicycle lamps and accessories. In the 1920s they started making batteries. Lucas made Morse keys and produced bicycles and oilers used in WW I. During the Second World War Lucas produced the No.4 Mk.III bayonet with scabbard. |
