Archimedean Drill. Late 19 century (Victorian time) drill for fine work, operated by reciprocating movement of the lower wooden grip which spins the spiral worm of the shaft. 2 brass weights are extended horizontally to increase and maintain the velocity. The 2 mm chuck is made of brass. A set of 5 drill bits in a metal container, is included. |
