English Silver Vesta Case and Compass. Birmingham 1907. A fully hallmarked silver vesta case with small completely functional compass on its side. The vesta is hallmarked Birmingham 1907 S&BM. It is beautifully etched in schematic floral designs. The striking plate is a recess at the bottom of the case. Below the hinge for opening the case, is a small ring with which to attach the case to a chain or to a chatelaine. |
