Verification marks includes: London Guildhall stamp with city arms (shield and dagger in top left quarter) that was used from 1826 onwards. A Royal Victorian standard stamp of a crown over cipher V, Founders' 'laver-pott' or ewer and a fancy A, for avoirdupois. |
