A very nice nested set of flat-circular brass avoirdupois weights made by the famous maker AVERY with assigned values of 2 lb., 1 lb., 8, 4, 2, and 1oz. The diameter of the 2 lb. weight is 8.8 cm. Verification marks includes: A Elizabethan standard numbered stamp of a royal crown over cipher EIIR 296 (Swansea) and date 1963. On each weight are several inspection marks. |
