Bronze Pub Measure. A charming bronze pub measure of 1/6 Gill, which is the amount contained in a quarter pint of ordinary strength beer, or a single pub measure of spirits (In the British Imperial system, 1 Gill = 0.25 Pint, 1/6 gill is about 25 ml). The base is marked 'Gaskell and Chambers Birmingham' and the rim is hallmarked with government stamp of a royal crown to verify accuracy. |
