1919 Silver Pin Tray With Tortoise Shell Bottom. A plain flared rim finishes this magnificent pin tray and the full hallmarks and the makers' mark are stamped on the rim. The round bottom (7 cm in diameter) is made of one piece of thick tortoise shell inlayed with a silver cartouche adorned with ribbons. Made in London in 1919. Picture taken with background light. |
