A Pocket Surveyor instrument made in 1928 by George Philip, Son & Nephew. London and Liverpool. Can be used as a level or cross staff and consist of a circular scale divided at every 45°, a main arm terminated with a screw and a double-ended sight bar. Used to find the height of a building, the gradient of a road, to set out right angle for a football field and to find the area of a field. Comes in its original case and detailed instruction manual. |
