A three draw brass English telescope with a wood covered barrel. Fully open it measures 21 inches (54 cm), four lens eyepiece contained in continuous final draw tube, flared eye cup assembly with slide cover (non protruding). Inscribed 'J Springer Bristol' circa 1810. Comes with original brass tripod heavy stand and mahogany box with red velvet lining.
