Brass German Compass. The compass has a blued magnetic needle which is colored red for the point north, and a beveled glass cover. The card is black. The needle is mounted on a sharp pivot at the center of the case so as to permit the needle to rotate freely in the horizontal plane. The compass is marked Germany on its back. |
