The spherometer is used for the measurement of the radius of curvature on spherical surfaces, the thickness of plates and the differences in level between surfaces (groove depth gauge). The device has three measuring points, which form an equilateral triangle. In the center of this triangle is located a probe that moves a dial gauge. Range 0-100 with 0.001-inch increments.
