Rare Chinese dotchin 'Opium' Scale. This scale consist of an ivory beam, a single brass pan and a unique many faceted weight with engraved Chinese characters with suspension cord. The balance operates on the Steelyard Principle. The scales are contained in a wooden case made in the shape of a violin case. |
