Boxed Traveling Diamond Scales. These scales consists of a beam 10 cm (4 inch) long with swan neck ends, suspension frame, indicator, knife-edge hinge, all made of metal, and two weighing concave pans. The scale is enclosed in a fitted teak wood case lined with red velvet and with a hinged lid. In a separate lidded compartment, there are 8 various weights in fitting recesses, one of them deeper than the others and has a bell typed weight. The box is in wonderful condition and beautifully made. the catch is fully functional. Size of box is 10.5 X 6 cm (4 X 2.3 inches). |
