19th Century Hand-Held Suspension Apothecary Scales. The 7-inch beam, with swan neck ends, and ornate indicator are made of cast iron and brass panes. This balance is enclosed in its original oak box together with small tweezers, 5-grain weights and 9 pennyweights (DWT) (five of them are stamped). The inside lid with a trade label for Clift & Co.
