Early 19th Century Hand-Held Suspension Apothecary Scales. Includes a very nice 20 cm (7½ inch) steel beam and boxed terminals with turned finials. The indicator and suspension frame are made of decorated cast iron and brass panes. This balance is enclosed in its original fitted solid walnut box together with a set of 6 troy bucket weights and 6 other brass weights. Box Size: length 23.5 cm, width 10.5 and height 4 cm. |
