Magnifying Glass with Antler Handle and Silver collar and Tip, 1896 and Jewish Brigade Emblem. The lens diameter is 11 cm (4.3 inches). It is connected to the antler handle with a silver collar that is marked Sheffield 1896. The silver tip is likewise marked. On the handle is a Royal Army Chaplain's insignia with Kings Crown, leaf wreath and star of David, made of white metal. This insignia was used in the early 20th century. |
