Late Georgian Horn-Cased magnifying glass. Very good quality lens 6 cm (2.4 inch) in diameter. An almost identical glass that belonged to the artist and painter Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) is on display in the Tate Art Gallery in London. |
