Jerusalem or the city of the Lord. This map was engraved by D.Nimmo and published by A . Fullarton & Co. The map was first published in 1835 by Samuel Arrosmith who was a bookseller in London. This publication is from the the 1840's. The city of Jerusalem is depicted as it would have looked at the time of Jesus. Prominently shown are the Temple mound, the hill of Zion and mount of Olives. Many other locations are depicted.The map is an original engraving on steel. The map is in very good shape with only very minor foxing. Map size is 26 X 17 cm (10 X 7 inches). |
