This unusual cane is in the shape of a flute. It is built of two parts, the mouth piece of polished mahogany with 2 silver rings, hallmarked 800. The body with 11 air holes, a silver plated copper ring and 5 copper keys. The handle is a turned ivory button handle. The ferrule is mahogany and very long (51 cm, 20 in). It is screwed into the body of the flute. |
