South German 18th century Oval Pewter Plate with flat bottom and broad rim with wavy edge. This very rare plate is marked with the German quality hallmark of the Angel (Engelmarken) for the best quality pewter. The label on the mark reads 'ENGEL BLOCK ZINN'.
