Oiler 'Made by TE Bladon & Son Ltd
A circular brass oiler with an angled spout. The spout is marked 'Made by TE Bladon & Son Ltd 1951 GPO". The drum is 8 cm in diameter and has a few dings to both sides.
Thomas Edward Bladon opend his shop as a lamp manufacturer in Northwood street Birmingham Warwickshire under the name of TE Bladon aroun 1888.On 20th January 1916 the business became TE Bladon and son Ltd as his eldest son William Edward joined the firm. One of the most famous pieces to come out of the factory was the blow lamp. By 1990 the business had ceased trading.
