This is a large brass instrument 7 cm (2 ¾ inch) in diameter with silvered dial and blued steel hand. This special model was made for the British army and signed by T.A.R.S & W Ltd in London with the serial number B5862. The range of barometric pressure scale is from 21 to 31 inches of mercury and an altimeter scale on the bezel in feet from 0 to 10,000.
