This is a 3 ft. 4-Fold rule with Protractor in mint condition. Made of Boxwood with brass hinges end-plates and a protractor 0 - 180°. This rule is No. 1165, made in England by J. Rabone & Sons, Birmingham. Michael Rabone founded his Birmingham firm in 1784. In 1877 John Rabone (grandson of Michael) changed the name to ‘John Rabone & Sons’.
