Round frame sun glasses made in England in the 1930’s. Polished round dark grey lenses. The W bridge is marked Willson. Shafts are elastic steel wire ,curl temple arms, that remain firmly in place and virtually eliminate slippage. Lens diameter is 6.75 cm (2.6 inches). Willson Goggles Inc was opened in 1871 as Thomas A. Willson & Co. They manufactured eyeglasses and safety equipment. The company went on to produce safety goggles and gasmasks for both world wars. The company was purchased by Christian Dalloz in October 1989 and production ceased inl 2002
